The idea for Selvaggia arrived not as a drawing, but as a feeling. There were no sketches spread across a worktable. No carefully rendered plans. Instead, the sculpture emerged directly from wax, shaped by hand and instinct, much the way a horse reveals its character—not all at once, but gradually, through movement and presence.

As the form developed, a horse appeared.

Not a specific horse, but the spirit of the horse itself.
